BearWise is a new service that provides insurance plans for specific niche markets. They hired Matchstic to brand their first niche service, BearWise Landscapers, a sub-brand focused on the landscaping industry. Matchstic created the identity, print collateral, and web sites for both the BearWise brand and the BearWise Landscapers sub-brand.
The Goal:
Create a brand and sub-brand that effectively communicates what the company and its brands are about and accomplish for their audience.
The Strategy:
Matchstic chose the colors brown and black to tie-in with the parent brand, while also communicating strength and trust. The green version used for BearWise Landscapers sub-brand speaks directly to that industry, while maintaining the strength and trust elements.
The Result:
The new brand identity allowed them to penetrate a niche market with a strong identity and clear messaging from the beginning.
